OUR STORY

At Sidekick Pups, we truly think of our dogs as our sidekicks. If you are around us long enough you are guaranteed to hear: "If only people were more like dogs..." Our sidekicks get us through the thick and thin of life. Always there for us, they are ready to love, play, comfort, forgive, cuddle, and of course nap-- They really are our best friends!

Living with dogs thier whole life, Christin and Jessica grew up around dog breeding and training. We absolutely love our dogs; their lifestyle (spoiled!) and temperaments (calm and well trained!) show it.  Our desire is to share what we have with you.

Transferring our family passion into a first-rate breeding business, we are committed: to our dogs, to our pups, and to providing you a great start with your new sidekick!

While we raise and care for your puppy, we are 100% devoted to making sure she/he is cared for as one of our own. Being home during the day makes it possible for the pups to have unlimited attention. They are played with constantly, handled by children and are exposed to other dogs, cats and everyday life-sounds like vacuum cleaners, tv, cars, and loud kids! We begin the process of potty training and learning very simple commands. Once you name your pup, we will also call him/her by name so they can learn it early!

Puppies generally go home at 8 weeks of age, but if you would like your puppy to come home with even more training, it can take a bit longer. Please contact us if you are interested to see if our schedule allows for adding a training package that will go beyond the normal 8 weeks. This can include crate training, continued potty training, one-on-one command training, leash training and getting used to car rides.

We have chosen to breed poodle mixes. We love dogs, but the shedding-- not so much! For this reason, the pups we are breeding will be poodles or poodle mixes. Doing this will give you the best chances of a more hypoallergenic pup! Poodles are also some of the smartest and intuitive dogs we know.

Our adults are health tested and puppies will go home with a 2-year genetic health guarantee. Puppy prices will vary depending on size, breed, and coloring. Please see the 'Mommas' and 'Available Puppy' pages for more specifics.
